For this project, I got the amazing opportunity to interview Henok Berhanu, the owner of the company Carry117, all the way from Ethiopia. Carry117 is a company all about orphan prevention and family preservation through empowering women. Henok and his team provides jobs and teaches women skills that can help them after their time at the Carry117 compound. The women create beautiful leather bags that are sold all over the world to support themselves and their community.

In this interview, I sat with another Georgia State Student, Alicia Owens. Alicia is one of two other young women who started a production company called Purple Nose Productions. In this interview, we talk about the difficulties of being a young woman in the production industry as well as the productions her team has put together.
